EPMO has specialised for several decades in the design and manufacture of compression tooling for the Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Nutraceutical industries. The technical solutions developed are adapted to different types of powders so as to optimise the use and lifespan of the tooling. We offer a range of products, from low-cost standards to high-tech customised ranges.

We offer short lead times for R&D laboratory requirements.

Special tooling

In recent years, we have significantly increased our production capacity for standard tooling (B, D, D+) in order to meet growing demand and offer best quality at attractive prices and lead times. In addition, as a leader in this activity, we also supply non-standard tooling to equip presses with special tooling shapes

Steel grades and coatings

We use a wide range of steels and technical coatings to give our tooling specific properties: resistance to mechanical stress, corrosion, wear and bonding resistance. EPMO offers an anti-stick R&D kit for punches and dies to quickly determine which coating gives the best results.

Part of our R&D focuses on controlling the surface characteristics of active parts. Our RG02 coating, which is already widely used by our customers, can increase tservice life of your tools by 3. More recently, the Onyx01™ treatment gives punches very high anti-stick characteristics while making maintenance operations (polishing) obsolete.
